McCabe & Barton are a specialist IT Recruitment Company that focuses on the financial marketplace. Our core clients are Investment Banks, Fund/Asset Managers, Private Banks, Software Companies and Consultancies.

The company was set up in June 2000 by Gillian McCabe & Russell Barton. We have two teams that provide a full vertical recruitment solution to our clients from CIO\'s through to analyst programmers:

  • Search Team - responsible for packages from £150,000 upwards The team focuses on the senior end of the market, from Development Managers to global CIO\'s/CTO\'s .
  • Core IT Team - responsible for contingent permanent packages up to £150,000 and Contract/Interim Recruitment The team focuses on providing recruitment services for positions with remuneration packages up to £150,000 and contract roles between £450 - 750 per day. This team uses a combination of search techniques, networking, referrals, job boards and our internal database Evolve.

The core it team breaks down into 2 further teams:

  • Business development - Whose primary focus is on winning new business in existing and new accounts, This team comprises of senior consultants with dedicated Resourcer\'s who manage contract and permanent requirements from an allocated functional area or account.
  • Delivery team This team is focussed on delivering purely to our accounts in which we have Preferred Supplier status. Typically these accounts produce continuous vacancies which have to be delivered to within strict SLA\'s .

This team will comprise of Delivery Consultants and Delivery Resourcers who specialise in various areas of technology. There are 2 x Delivery Consultants and 2 x delivery resourcers currently. We will look to increase this team in line with increasing requirements and revenue achieved. We are currently going through an exciting period of change and growth and have identified the need for a Resourcing Team Leader to be based at our offices located by Bank station.

Role

The Resourcing Team Leader is responsible for executing the delivery of all Preferred Supplier List volume recruitment and selection activity as well as managing the resource team (currently 4) Duties include: Responsible for their own revenue stream, he/she will specialise in a vertical market to provide a delivery service to our PSL accounts.

Ensuring that the team provides excellent customer service whilst achieving service level agreements and that all resourcing activity is delivered accurately and on time. Responsible for all operational recruitment administration

Reporting to the Head of the Core IT Team, you will proactively manage and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure a best in class candidate experience.

Commercially aware, you will keep abreast of market developments in process, selection and assessment techniques and ensure processes are adapted to ensure a professional, competitive approach. With a proven career in recruitment you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of managing a team with KPIs and Ratios
  • Strong delivery track record and delivers to deadlines/SLA\'s
  • Previous experience of delivering to Preferred Suppler Agreements
  • Customer focus and \'working with\' attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Experience of operational Recruitment delivery - ie direct sourcing/interviewing/candidate management
  • Understanding of the end to end recruitment processes
  • Competent user of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Positive \'can do\' approach
  • Excellent communication skills - phone, face to face and written
  • Proven administration skills.
  • Ideally experience of the IT into the Investment Banking market place
  • Degree level Education
