Assistant Management Accountant - Sales Ledger
At Nicoll Curtin, we are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team to work closely with our Financial Controller. You will be responsible for providing a seamless service of financial support and guidance and to adhere to Company procedures and quality guidelines.
KEY OBJECTIVES & ACTIVITIES
1. Take full responsibility for Multi-currency Sales Ledger
2. Ensuring timely and accurate creation of invoicing
3. Responsible for ensuring that the Sales Ledger is reconciled win Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance and Management Accounts
4. Assisting in the preparation of Management Accounts
5. To assist the Financial Controller as required
6. To ensure that Contractor timesheets are analysed accurately to enable consultants to chase outstanding periods
7. Balance sheet reoncilications
8. Bank reconciliation
9. Ad-hoc analysis
10. Produce Management Information Reporting (MIS) in line with requests from Directors and to tight timescales
11. To respond to all staff requests in a timely manner whilst managing their expectations and considering own workload and priorities
12. Accurate and timely preparation of contracts, terms of business, SLA s
13. Preparation of letters, documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations as requested
14. To be responsible for Quality Control of electronic filing, Sage and other systems
15. Identifying and managing work load priorities
16. Completing all necessary databasing and administration in a timely manner
17. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, including other consultants and administrators
18. Continually adhering to the health, safety and quality requirement of the company, by undertaking any task necessary to ensure this
Additional Tasks
You will be required to undertake additional tasks. These include general administration (when required), phone answering, greeting visitors, diary management, filing, post, controlling and managing the Enquiries calendar, stationery Orders/new equipment.
Reporting Lines
The role reports into the Financial Controller and will have accountability to the Director - Contracts Division all matters and the Managing Director in Director Contracts Division\'s absence and for matters affecting or potentially affecting NCT.
