Mobile Marketing (City of London)

Award winning, independent mobile marketing agency seeks a Business Development Executive to join our New Business team to help us achieve our aggressive growth plans. You\'ll be shaping the UK\'s leading mobile marketing agency.
Job purpose
- This role provides a support role for the marketing team.
- To support the Marketing Manager and marketing Director in promoting the company and generating sales leads by providing and implementing effective marketing advice and solutions.
- To implement marketing communications activity. This includes co-ordinating design and print/online production of PR, advertising and direct marketing activity.
- To support the sales & new business teams. This includes support at trade shows and events, and creation of materials for presentations and pitches.

Principal accountabilities
- Provision of marketing support to the agency and the marketing team (design and print, web site updates, data sourcing and analysis for reports and presentations, copywriting and management of marketing collateral eg outbound email campaigns, banner ads, sales materials, event stands)
- Provide internal clients with a point of contact for the provision of their marketing support.
- Provision of some administrative support to the marketing team such as: event support (eg sales fairs), data entry, fulfilment activity, job bag management and general paperwork.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with our network of suppliers, and other external organisations by effective briefing of external agencies and suppliers (design, PR, digital agencies, photographers, media buying, copywriters, merchandise suppliers etc) as well as effective utilisation of in-house resource.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team for proactive marketing planning and being able to credibly present ideas and solutions with confidence at key points during the working process. This requires ongoing understanding of Incentivated\'s marketing strategy, long and short-term goals, target audiences and the reasons underpinning these.
- Manage and maximise marketing budgets to deliver results-focussed campaigns, ensuring value for money and sustainable procurement of marketing services.
- Deliver creative and innovative marketing communications solutions, with a can-do approach.
Therefore, we are seeking someone:
1. with a marketing background either client side or agency, but preferably with some B2B experience:
* this should include a demonstrable understanding of integrated marketing techniques and how marketing success is evaluated.
* know and understand the jargon, processes, timing and delivery of marketing collateral, including adverts, print production and digital assets.
* have an eye for detail and grammatical accuracy
2. who gets mobile. Is excited and enthused by the potential offered by the mobile channel and has a real desire to help brands and advertisers engage appropriately with their customers through mobile
3. who shows they can (start to/have ability to learn to) think around an issue
4. who enjoys the behind-the-scenes functions of marketing: looking into data, manipulating data and research findings, keeping web pages up to date, looking at results of activity and seeking trends or ways of improving the next piece of work.
5. who is interested in Data, good spreadsheet skills to create charts, tables, take raw data and start to manage it
6. with an understanding or experience of website analytics preferably having used these to understand and inform campaign activity
7. with some online marketing experience: Email (managed the process of sending and understanding results) Of Social media (anticipate personal use): fb, twitter, blog, flickr, youtube. if in a B2B marketing context: FAB!
