Job Description

The purpose of this role is to implement the data management and transformation components of solutions for high profile’ clients. The Developer will be responsible for inputting into technical design, coding the functioning application and ensuring the solution passes through system test. The right candidate is able to collaborate with business and technical teams to create solutions for projects and strategic platforms. Experience of working in fast paced, high pressure environment, such as Professional Service or Consulting based, would be a benefit. Excellent career progression and a challenging work environment wait for the right candidate. Experience of providing solutions in a creative, document composition environment would be highly beneficial.

Essential Skills: Graduate degree Experience working as a developer (2 years minimum) Hands-on experience of ETL development C# (Console applications/windows services) Good working knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle 10.1, Sybase) Detailed knowledge of XML and associated technology A thorough understanding of development practices such as source code control, change management and documentation. Understanding of development methodologies and processes

Desirable Skills

Experience of using Dollar Universe workflow orchestration tool Knowledge of document-related technologies and applications Commercial development experience building Web Form applications and or Win Form applications on the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 / 1.1 / 2.0 Knowledge of any the following .Net Server products such as; Team Foundation Server, Reporting Services, SharePoint Server, BizTalk
