Job Description

I am looking for 2 Project Managers for a high profile client.

This will require considerable work on networks, data centre and local infrastructure as well as coordinating with a major technology upgrade project.

The jobholder will be responsible to the IT Infrastructure Implementation Director for planning, organising, managing and coordinating the work; this will include dealing with multiple third parties. They will be required to:

identify the detailed activities and resources needed determine detailed costs of activities and obtain the necessary resources plan the activities for each piece of work manage the day to day activities of the IT project Ensure that all IT components are fully coordinated within the overall NAGE and Simpson Programmes track and report on progress and cost manage the associated risks and identify and escalate significant variances to plan ensure that all relevant documentation is in place for the service to be delivered

Skills/Attributes Required:

Experience of successfully managing IT infrastructure projects Problem solving and issue management skills. Excellent communication and time management skills. A high standard of interpersonal skills and questioning skills. The ability to think across boundaries and work with multiple stakeholders. Good understanding of IT networks and infrastructure. The capacity and self-motivation required to meet the demands of this post in terms of quality, customer expectations, tact, timescales and work-stream management. PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification/ Qualified by experience.

Minimum Experience:

Five years experience working in a change-managed IT environment as a Project Manager. Experience of working with outsourced suppliers Two years experience as a Project Manger using PRINCE2.
